In the midst of a wild week, the Colorado Avalanche reveal their preseason schedule for the 2024-25 season.
In what has turned out to be a slightly busier week in the NHL news-wise, the Colorado Avalanche announced their preseason schedule for the 2024-25 season on Thursday morning.
It’ll be here before you know it.

The Avalanche will officially kick off their preseason on September 23 with their home game against the Dallas Stars. Similarly to last season, Colorado will play two games against both the Dallas Stars and the Vegas Golden Knights. In addition, Colorado will also get a first look at the Utah Hockey Club ahead of the regular season. Announcements about any broadcast details are still to come, along with the regular season schedule in the next week or two.
We still have a bit of a way to go until September 23. But until then, there are plenty of things to look forward to, like the NHL draft, free agency, and, of course, the Stanley Cup being awarded to either the Florida Panthers or the Edmonton Oilers.
