Another addition to the list of college free agents that signed with Colorado.
The Top 25 Under 25 is a collaboration by Mile High Hockey staff members. Six writers have ranked players under the age of 25 in the Colorado Avalanche organization as of August 1, 2024. Now, we’ll count down each of the 25 players ranked.
Chase Bradley becomes yet another NCAA player that signed with the Colorado Avalanche organization out of college. He wasn’t undrafted, however, as Bradley was actually a 2020 seventh round draft pick of the Detroit Red Wings who went unsigned. The 22-year old forward played three seasons with the UConn Huskies before signing a two-year entry-level contract with Colorado on July 2 this year. Bradley completed his three years at UConn with 95 GP in total, putting up 25G and 26A for a total of 51 points in his NCAA career.
Prior to playing in the NCAA, Bradley played three seasons in the USHL, spending two of those seasons with the Omaha Lancers and the other one with the Sioux City Musketeers. In two seasons with the Lancers, he played a total of 71 games and put up 10G and 13A for a total of 23 points. With the Musketeers, he played 52 games, putting up 22G and 18A for 40 points.
We are headed to overtime!!

Bradley was in attendance at Avalanche Development Camp earlier this summer, and his skating was something that immediately stood out. He already looks exactly like the type of player that Colorado likes to have on their roster, due to his strong skating abilities. Between his skating and scoring abilities, if he can continue to grow his game, he hopefully should become a valuable player to Colorado.
Chase Bradley can skate folks. Needs some work on the final touches but he’s nearly there with his feet alone #GoAvsGo pic.twitter.com/bBMBfOKImG
