Apparently Klippenstien will not be with the team for the upcoming draft, therefore someone else will be at the helm but who that is hasn’t been revealed. Klippenstien was promoted to Director of Amature Scouting just before the 2021 draft. No word yet on if the organization plans to address changes within the development system as well.
Wade Klippenstein’s contract was not renewed, so the Avalanche will be looking for a new Director of Amateur Scouting.
