The wait is finally over as the Colorado Avalanche have signed their top prospect Calum Ritchie to a three-year Entry Level Contract. Ritchie had a phenomenal 2023-24 season where he scored 80 points in 50 games and led his team to the OHL finals. A reward for his hard work and commitment from the organization was very much deserved.

Ritchie himself had indicated he’d be fighting for a contract this fall at training camp but the Avalanche made a wise decision to get the 19-year old center locked into a contract before hopefully getting an opportunity to make the team in the coming months after a big summer of training.
