It’s still a modest group with one visiting Condor of Philadelphia but will grow each day, particularly next week after the holiday. The league managed to get one bit of news released before the holiday weekend and that is NHL’s 2024-25 national tv schedule. The Avalanche are fortunate to feature heavy at 17 appearances with a couple caveats. Four TNT games are not exclusive rights and therefore will have an alternative Altitude broadcast and won’t be available in the Denver market. Also, ESPN+ only games are just available solely on ESPN+ streaming, not exactly “national tv”. Still, it will be great exposure for the team and give fans across the nation more viewing options.

And to see how those 17 games compare to the rest of the league. Not much in Canadian teams from the US television partners, apparently.

With the close of summer that also means the end of wedding season for those in the hockey industry. Two of our own tied the knot recently and the Avalanche extended their congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Cale Makar and Mr. and Mrs. Logan O’Connor on their nuptials.
