Previewing the 2024 edition of our Top 25 Under 25 list.
This year, we did something a little bit different with our Top 25 Under 25 prospect list. We asked you guys for your fan vote on our Top 25 Under 25 list this year! About two weeks ago, we put out an article along with a form for you guys to vote, and we will be covering each prospect from that list individually. Thank you to all who participated in this new venture!
Starting tomorrow, we will discuss each prospect that made the list individually, going from 25 to one as usual as polled by our writers! Somehow in some way, the Colorado Avalanche have more than 25 prospects under the age of 25 thanks to a handful of draft picks from this most recent NHL Draft, nine in total.

In addition to the aforementioned nine new draftees there are a few newcomers to the organization on ELC such as Chase Bradley, Ivan Ivan and Saige Weinstein. There will be a new number one on our countdown as Cale Makar has aged out and Bowen Byram has departed. Other changes include Gianni Fairbrother and Alex Beaucage did not receive qualifying offers. Jason Polin and Sam Malinski are still around but have aged out as well. And then Ben Meyers and Jeremy Hanzel were traded at the deadline to round out the changes to our list.
Hence, for the names that did not ultimately did not make it into the top 25, we will also be covering those honorable mentions. Those names and our coverage of the top prospects that made the list will officially begin tomorrow! Be sure to follow along all month long to see who ends up at the top of the list and who follows suit!
