Let us take a look at which prospects the experts have the Broncos selecting in the 2025 NFL Draft.
It’s that time of the year again. We’re a week removed from the Denver Broncos being eliminated from the postseason and after some reflection on the regular season, it’s time to start looking forward. NFL free agency will be here before we know, but so will draft season. The All-Star games and NFL Combine all happen within the next few weeks so it’s time to start taking a look at which prospects are being connected to the Broncos.
Keep in mind, it is VERY early in the process and there will be risers and fallers throughout the process and free agency could change the landscape as well.
So, with all that said, here is a collection of Denver Broncos mock draft selections from experts and analysts from around the web.
USA Today
20. Denver Broncos – Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
If the Heisman Trophy runner-up makes it past the Cowboys at No. 12, how far could he fall? Denver is squarely in the running back market, with Sean Payton saying he was going to “stack that position group.” Though Payton noted he isn’t accustomed to operating with a bell-cow back, Jeanty might be the kind of talent worth revising plans for, as he would bring a sorely missed explosive element to the Broncos’ ground game, which has not produced a 100-yard rushing game from a ball carrier in two years and last had a 1,000-yard rusher in 2019.

Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State (6-6, 260 pounds)
The Broncos haven’t had a big-time receiving tight end in a while. Warren can take over games receiving with his size, strength, and athleticism, which also are key assets in run blocking and wrinkle plays. He would be the ideal intermediate target for Bo Nix as a potential new Jimmy Graham for Sean Payton and Joe Lombardi.
CBS Sports – Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
Denver is a team that I expect to be in the mix for Ashton Jeanty, but the Broncos could choose to address the position on Day 2 as well. Colston Loveland upgrades the tight end position.

20. Denver Broncos
Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
The Broncos vastly exceeded expectations this season with rookie QB Bo Nix at the helm. Despite limited weapons around him, Nix showed more than enough to warrant a full investment in the offense. Adding a tight end, a position that has historically thrived under Sean Payton, would provide immense benefits for both Nix and the Broncos’ offense. Time and again, Denver’s offense lacked a true difference-maker at tight end—Colston Loveland can be that game-changer.

20) Denver Broncos
Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
Marques Colston Loveland. Make the tee shirt.
Loveland is a tight end in designation alone. You don’t want him putting his hand in the dirt trying to block Chris Jones or Maxx Crosby on the edge in the run game. But the long, smooth Loveland is an outstanding weapon from the slot and even split out wide. He’s not nearly as explosive as Kyle Pitts, but they should be used similarly at the NFL level (except with more volume.)
Trust that Sean Payton can carve out a role for the big-bodied offensive weapon because he’s good enough as an H-back type to move around the formation and block across the formation on split zone or in space.

20. Denver Broncos: Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
The Broncos were ahead of schedule, making the playoffs with a rookie quarterback. And the defense was pretty strong much of the season. When you go 0-3 against Herbert and Mahomes, my thought is to bolster the defense.
Fantasy Pros
20) Denver Broncos – Ashton Jeanty (RB – Boise State)
Javonte Williams is a free agent this offseason. Meanwhile, Jaleel McLaughlin and Audric Estime are solid role players but not starters. Jeanty would finally give Sean Payton the superstar running back for his offense.

20. Denver Broncos: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Should Jeanty fall this far? Of course not. But if Dallas decides to pass, there aren’t many obvious landing spots for him in the top 18. From the Boise State Broncos to the Denver Broncos, Jeanty would add another level to Sean Payton’s offense and continue to help Bo Nix ascend as one of the league’s bright young quarterbacks.
33rd Team: Ohio State WR, Emeka Egbuka
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 205 lbs.
Class: Senior
Fit: Denver enjoyed a heck of a run in 2024 and the Broncos faithful should be very encouraged by the team’s growth under Sean Payton. But ultimately this offense lacked punch in Buffalo against the Bills in the Wild Card Round — and they need more weapons to help bring Payton’s offense to full strength. Emeka Egbuka has been a consistent producer for one of the most high-powered offenses in the country and his route running would be a welcomed fresh dynamic to the Broncos’ wide receiver room.
