Denver Broncos co-owner Lewis Hamilton will be featured on Hot Ones, a popular YouTube show hosted by Sean Evans, on Thursday morning. During the program, guests eat wings while increasing the level of hot sauce as they are interviewed by Evans.
Hamilton eats a plant-based diet, so the show will have a chicken alternative for his wings.
Hamilton, an accomplished Formula 1 driver, joined the Broncos as a minority owner in 2022. He is now one of the team’s six co-owners. Hamilton revealed the club’s 2024 schedule in a video earlier this month.
Earlier this week, Hamilton finished seventh in the Monaco Grand Prix. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc won the race. Hamilton is set to become Leclerc’s teammate next year after news broke in February that Hamilton will leave Mercedes for Ferrari in 2025. While he didn’t make the podium, Hamilton did have the fastest lap in Monaco.
Hamilton spoke about joining the Broncos’ ownership group during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel two years ago.
“Honestly, it’s such an honor and such an amazing opportunity,” Hamilton said during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2022. “I remember when I was like nine years old, I used to live on an American air base for a short period of time in the UK, and that was the first time I became aware of it [NFL], and I used to play Madden. I’ve been to many Super Bowls…
“Melody Hobson called me and said she had this amazing opportunity and would I like to a part of it, and I jumped at it. There’s a real lack of Black ownership [in the NFL], and I’m pushing for diversity constantly. There’s a lot of work to do and I’m really proud to be part of it.”
