There is a lot for Denver Broncos fans to be excited about and chief among them has to be the play of rookie Bo Nix.
For this week’s SB Nation Reacts survey, I asked Denver Broncos fans if they thought Bo Nix was leading the race over Jayden Daniels for NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year. Honestly, I expected fans to overwhelmingly say yes, but while Nix is leading with 76% of the vote it would suggest many of us think he needs to do a little more to overtake Daniels for this award.
This survey came before the announcement on Thanksgiving Day that Nix took home a third consecutive Rookie of the Week award. Personally, I think he is about neck-and-neck with Daniels and how the two perform down the stretch will decide who wins that coveted rookie award. Although, some of us here at Mile High Report think he’s already the favorite.
Then we look at overall fan confidence and it is unwaveringly maxed out. We’ll always get a few rival AFC West fans fading on these public survey’s, so I’d consider 99% to be all fans believing this franchise is heading in the right direction.
The Broncos are locked in at seventh seed in the AFC with a sizeable cushion over those at 8-10 in the conference. The schedule is also favorable if Denver can keep winning to overtake some other teams ahead of them. The prime target has to be the Los Angeles Chargers who are facing a gauntlet of teams and will face the Broncos on Thursday Night Football in Week 16. That game could decide the final seeding in the AFC.
