Good news on the injury front as the Denver Broncos will have both Garett Bolles and Luke Wattenburg in this game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Both were on the injury report this week, so getting their offensive line fully back for this game was going to be vital for their chances in this game.
On the inactives list today, the Broncos have Zach Wilson who will be the emergency third quarterback, running back Blake Watons, tight end Lucas Krull, cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine, tackle Frank Crum, and defensive lineman Eyioma Uwazurike. Also inactive is rookie wide receiver Devaughn Vele who was Bo Nix’s favorite target last week. Vele was not able to come back from injury in time for this game.
For the Steelers, they have designated former-Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson as their emergency third as well. There will likely not be any type of ‘revenge game’ for Denver or Russell Wilson this week.
