Broncos vs Bills picks: 3 picks for a same-game parlay for Wild Card Round

Here are my favorite three picks for the same-game parlay offered by FanDuel for the Denver Broncos Wild Card game against the Buffalo Bills.

The Denver Broncos will travel to Buffalo to take on Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills this Sunday at 11 am MT on CBS. This will be the Broncos’ first postseason game since Peyton Manning road off into the sunset after winning Super Bowl 50. It has been a long and dark stretch between then and now, but Sean Payton, Bo Nix, and the Broncos’ defense have led them back to the playoffs and now, they’re eyeing an upset of the Bills.

Heading into this game, the Bills are heavily favored to win according to FanDuel which currently has them at -460 while the Broncos are at +350. I think the Broncos can pull the upset of the Bills, so I would be taking their moneyline and pairing it with a few promising bets to create a winning parlay. FanDuel is offering a no-sweat same game parlay for the playoff weekend. More details below.

Broncos moneyline: Pick the Broncos over the Bills at +350

The Broncos enter this game as underdogs against the Bills who are viewed as one of the top teams in the league and Josh Allen who some view as the favorite for the MVP award. Meanwhile, the Broncos snuck into the playoffs as the 7th seed and have been overlooked all year.

Hell, Vegas had them at 5.5 wins entering the year so I hope you hammered the over on that one and collected your winnings.

I think they can pull the upset because the Broncos beat the Bills last year with Russell Wilson and a team not as good as their current squad. So, why can’t Sean Payton, Bo Nix, and an improved defense go back to Buffalo and pull the upset again?

Nix has really turned it up in recent weeks and has held his own in games vs. Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert in two games the Broncos could have and should have won. So, he has proven he can go toe-to-toe with some of the NFL’s best passers and he’ll prove that again this Sunday.

The Broncos pass rush as a chance to take over this game. They enter this game with the league’s best pass rush which led the NFL in sacks and will be going up against one of the toughest quarterbacks to sack. If they can get to, rattle, and sack Allen, the game could quickly go in the Broncos’ favor.

I am biased, but I am hammering the Broncos moneyline this week.

Bo Nix over/under 223.5 passing yards: Take the over

Bo Nix has been on fire in recent weeks. He has only been under 223.5 yards passing three times since the Broncos’ week 8 game vs. the Falcons and is coming off a game where he passed for 321 yards vs. the Chiefs’ backups.

I think Nix will surpass this mark against a weaker Bills pass defense in a game where the Broncos could be in a bit of a shootout. Add in their struggles running the ball and we could see Nix slinging it all over the field this Sunday vs. the Bills.

So, I am hammering the over here, especially since I believe they will upset the Bills. Nix will likely have to surpass this passing mark if the Broncos want to defeat Josh Allen and the Bills in the wildcard round.

Marvin Mims over/under 41.5 receiving yards: Take the over

The second-year two-time Pro Bowl kick returner has really turned it on as a receiver in the second half of the season. His big play ability in key moments has been key in the Broncos’ postseason run and he has turned into their best playmaker on the roster.

Mims has only been under 41.5 receiving yards once since their week 8 game vs. the Falcons. In the span, he has topped 100 yards twice and found the end zone six times. Mims’s ability to make chunk plays also makes this bet intriguing. In that same span since week 8, Mims has three receptions over 50 yards which includes that 93-yarder vs. the Browns on Monday Night Football. So, Mims could win you this leg of your bet in one play.

Nix and Mims have been clicking recently and Payton has not been shy about getting the ball to him in space and/or taking deep shots to him a few times a game.

I have the Broncos winning this game, Nix going over 223.5 yards passing and Mims eclipsing 41.5 yards passing. I feel pretty good about all three hitting and if they do, you’ll have the joy of the Broncos winning and some extra cash in your bank account.
