Here is your final injury report for the Denver Broncos and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ahead of their week 3 matchup this Sunday.
The 0-2 Denver Broncos will head east to Florida to take on the 2-0 Tampa Bay Buccaneers for their week 3 matchup this Sunday in Tampa Florida. On the injury side of things, the Broncos will be down one of their top pass rushers while the Buccaneers come in a bit banged up on the defensive side of the ball and will be missing two of their top players.
For the Broncos, edge rusher Baron Browning who left last Sunday’s game with a foot injury has already been ruled out for Sunday’s game. Head coach Sean Payton told reporters “We’ll see” about Browning landing on the injured reserve, so that will be something to monitor moving forward. Look for Nik Bonitto and rookie Jonah Elliss to get more snaps with Browning sidelined. The team also signed Dondrea Tillman off their practice squad to add depth while Browning is sidelined.
The other Broncos player ruled out is reserve safety JL Skinner who is dealing with an ankle injury. Look for Devon Key and Keidron Smith to step up and replace his role on defense and special teams. Outside of that, the Broncos have good news on the injury report as all players listed participated fully today. That includes rookie wide receiver Devaughn Vele who missed last Sunday’s game due to a rib injury. We’ll see if he is heavily involved on offense again this Sunday.

As for the Bucs, they come in a bit banged up. They ruled out safety Antonie Winfield Jr. who is one of their best players and big nose tackle Vita Vela is listed as doubtful due to a knee injury. Both of these will be key losses to the Bucs defense and hopefully, the Broncos’ offense can capitalize.
The Bucs also ruled out their starting right tackle Luke Goedeke who is dealing with a concussion along with 2023 first-round pick, defensive lineman Calijah Kancey. So, the Bucs will be down their two top defensive players, their former first-round pick interior pass rusher, and their starting right tackle. The Broncos need to capitalize on these injuries, especially on the offensive side of the ball, and make some plays and put some points up on the board.
They also have defensive linemen William Gholston and defensive back Josh Hayes listed as questionable so we’ll need to keep an eye on their status once they announce their inactive.
