The Denver Broncos have injuries to several key players ahead of their road game vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Denver Broncos have several key players working back from injuries this week as the team prepares for their Week 3 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Among the non-participants in today’s practice were edge rusher Baron Browning, defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers, and safety’s Brandon Jones and JL Skinner. The good news is that wide receiver Devaughn Vele is back in a limited way after missing last week with an injury to his ribs.
In other news, the Broncos also sent right tackle Mike McGlinchey to injured reserve, which is a big blow to their offensive line. Second-year offensive lineman Alex Palczewski will start in McGlinchey’s spot for at least the next four weeks. Denver also promoted rookie Dondrea Tillman to the active roster and signed second-year edge rusher Andrew Farmer to the practice squad, which could signal that Browning’s injury is going to cause him to miss this next game.
