The Mile High Report staff give their score predictions for the Week 12 matchup between the Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders.
The Denver Broncos back in Week 5 were not flying as high as they are now and when the Las Vegas Raiders came to town on a win streak, Denver was a mere 1.5-point home favorite. Half a season later, the Raiders haven’t won a game since the Broncos broke them and Denver is in the AFC playoff mix.

Collectively, our Mile High Report staff is predicting a Broncos 31-11 home win over the Raiders in Week 12. Just about everyone is predicting a blowout win, but not all. Here is where we each landed individually:
Broncos 23, Raiders 20
How quickly we forget that the Raiders were up 10-3 and on the verge of going up 17-3 before Patrick Surtain turned the tide of the game. Sure, the Broncos blew out the Raiders in their previous matchup, but in a game of inches that could have easily turned into an embarrassing home loss. Don’t sleep on a division rival, Denver. Go out there and take care of business. – Tim Lynch
Broncos 35, Raiders 10
The Broncos are as good as the raiders are bad. Bo Nix and the offense have moved from a liability to an asset since the last matchup, while the raiders have not significantly improved. – John Holmes
Broncos 28, Raiders 6
After a dominant victory against the Falcons, we don’t expect anything less this week against the Raiders. This should be another decisive win, marking the start of a decade-long streak of victories over our divisional rivals. The key will be how well Bo Nix handles the increased attention he has received following his standout performances. My bold prediction? Bo will earn the Rookie of the Week award for the third consecutive week. – Ivan Talavera
Broncos 31, Raiders 10
The Broncos will be engaged early for this game after the slow start in Week 5. The offense will continue its growth against a mediocre Raiders defense and Minshew (and/or O’Connell/Ridder) will struggle early and often against the version of the Broncos D that allowed only 22 total yards over a 7 drive stretch in that Week 5 matchup. The betting over/under has straddled the key number of 41 all week, so let’s go with a total of exactly 41 to complete a dual Vegas shellacking – both the Raiders and the sportsbooks. Two things to be thankful for leading up to the holiday!! – Jonathan Rice
Broncos 27, Raiders 10
The Broncos are trending upward, and the Raiders are dead last in the AFC West with a horrendous 2-8 record. The Raiders’ defense is suspect, and the Broncos’ offense seems to be hitting their stride. I fully expect the Broncos to come out of the gate strong and easily defeat their big rival on the road. – Chris Hart
Broncos 31, Raiders 9
Bo Nix keeps lighting up the scoreboard against a bad Raiders defense, while the Broncos defense gets Minshew benched for the 2nd time this season. – Taylor Kothe
Broncos 34, Raiders 13
The Raiders are one of the worst teams in the NFL and their 2-8 record supports that. It’s mind-boggling that one of their wins was over the Ravens, who I’ve been told are an elite team. I thought elite teams didn’t lose to bad teams and yet the Ravens have lost to the Raiders AND the Browns. The Raiders have lost six straight and their last two losses were against a bad Bengals team and a bad Dolphins team.
This is a game that the Broncos should win easily even if it’s on the road in Oakland Los Angeles Oakland Loss Vegas. The nice thing about the 2024 Broncos is that they have been beating the teams that the should beat. The Broncos only win over a team with a winning record was last week against the Falcons. I expect that trend to continue and I expect the Bronco offense and defense to continue rolling like they were last week. – Joe Mahoney
Broncos 27, Raiders 9
Raider week is always important in Broncos Country. When Denver beat Vegas earlier this year I called it the most important win since Super Bowl 50. It wasn’t about beating a team like the Chiefs, who are currently one of the elite teams in the NFL. It was about beating a division rival that they absolutely should handle. Now they go on the road and get a prove it game. Th Broncos have been in ascension since that game, while the Raiders have consistently been bad this year. This is a chance to go on the road and beat a bad team. Bo Nix has been lights out recently. I expect that to continue. The defense is one of the best in the league. I expect that to continue. The Broncos go on the road and win a prove it game to continue their march to the playoffs. – Adam Malnati
Broncos 34, Raiders 13
It was a close game in the first quarter back in Week 5, and then that Surtain pick-6 changed everything. That won’t be the case this time around. The Broncos will dominate the Davante Adams-less Raiders from start to finish and Bo Nix and the offensive line will follow up a tremendous outing against the Falcons with nearly as many point this week. – Ross Allen
Broncos 38, Raiders 9
The Broncos are coming off one of the best games and wins in a long time. Nix is cooking. The offense is rolling. The defense continues to dominate. And that should continue this Sunday in Las Vegas. Yes, this is a division rivalry but Denver is clearly the better team. And the Broncos want to keep the playoff dream alive. Denver dominates this game. – Ian St. Clair
