The Denver Broncos are also set to face off against the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams on Christmas Day this season.
The holiday game will be nationally televised on CBS and a special broadcast will air on Nickelodeon.
From a football guy perspective, though, Wilson faces off against an old division rival in the Rams. Other minor storylines are Wilson facing off against former teammate Bobby Wagner and Broncos defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero facing off against the Rams offense, one he used to practice against daily.
Nickelodeon’s football broadcasts, meanwhile, are obviously geared toward kids. A neat feature for nuclear families set to watch the game on Christmas is the inclusion of slime. Perhaps best of all, when players score touchdowns, the famed slime joins the party in the end zone.
