The Denver Broncos are getting blown out at home to the Los Angeles Chargers. The wheels have come off…
The Denver Broncos defense couldn’t seem to figure out how to stop Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers early on in this game. Early in the second quarter, they’d convert the fourth of five third down attempts to keep their third drive going. The inability to get off the field was hurting the Broncos’ defense and their blitz packages seemed to get picked up easily.
That would lead to a 20-play drive where they’d convert two more third downs along the way. The drive ate up 10 minutes of clock, but Zach Allen finally got a third down stop with a sack to bring out the field goal unit. Given how long that drive was and how much clock it ate up, getting off the field with three-points was a win for Denver.
Big @Broncos sack on 3rd down!

Chargers 13, Broncos 0.
The Broncos offense seemed to get things going on their next drive. Two strong runs by Javonte Williams and a completion to Courtland Sutton got Denver across midfield. However, disaster struck again for Denver as Javonte Williams coughed up the football for the team’s second turnover of the half.
It certainly seems like that will end up being the ballgame for Denver.
The Chargers easily drove down the field against a depleted and exhausted Broncos’ defense and put the game away.
Chargers 20, Broncos 0.
The second half should be fun…
