The Denver Broncos orchestrated a trade that will send edge defender Bradley Chubb to the Miami Dolphins. Chubb, a first-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, has spent the entirety of his career with the Broncos.

Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins, Agree to Bradley Chubb Trade
After a disappointing and injury-riddled 2021, Bradley Chubb has returned to his old form in 2022. Starting and appearing in all eight games, the North Carolina State product has recorded 5.5 sacks, 26 tackles, four tackles-for-loss, and eight quarterback hits.
Chubb originally entered the NFL as a first-round pick in the 2018 NFL. Selected fifth overall by the Broncos, the North Carolina State product immediately earned a starting job and made a huge impact on the Denver defense. Chubb started all 16 games of his rookie season, finishing the year with 12.0 sacks, 60 tackles, 14 tackles-for-loss, 21 quarterback hits, and two forced fumbles. By all measures, it was a great season that should have been a sign of great things to come.
However, Chubb has never been able to recapture his rookie form. The edge defender only played in four games in 2019, recording one sack, 21 tackles, five tackles-for-loss, six quarterback hits, and one forced fumble before suffering a partial ACL tear that prematurely ended his season. 2020 marked his return to the field, and Chubb responded by recording 7.5 sacks, 42 tackles, nine tackles-for-loss, 19 quarterback hits, and one forced fumble in 14 games. While not quite as impressive as his rookie year, this season was enough for Chubb to earn his first trip to the Pro Bowl.
Injuries once again limited Chubb in 2021, as an ankle ailment kept him off the field for all but seven games. When healthy, however, Chubb failed to make much of an impact. The former first-round pick recorded just 21 tackles, one tackle-for-loss, four quarterback hits, and no sacks while on the field. He did, however, record the first interception of his career.
