Former Denver Broncos running back Montee Ball was announced as a member of the 2025 Pro Football Hall of Fame class this week.
Ball, 34, had a decorated college career at Wisconsin, winning the Archie Griffin Award, the Doak Walker Award and the Jim Brown Award (twice). He was a two-time Consensus All-American, a two-time All-Big Ten player, a two-time Big Ten Running Back of the Year, and the Big Ten Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year in 2011.
In his final three seasons with the Badgers, Ball rushed for 4,749 yards and 73 touchdowns while adding 506 receiving yards and six more scores. He ended his college career with 5,738 yards from scrimmage and 83 touchdowns.

The Broncos picked Ball in the second round of the 2013 NFL draft. He had a disappointing two seasons in Denver, but the former running back has since overcome alcoholism and now serves as a public speaker and an AODA recovery advocate.
