Because who doesn’t need a reason to visit Florida in March?
Forget free agency. Forget the draft. For the offseason NFL fan, your Super Bowl starts today! Get pumped for the NFL league meeting!
Often overlooked, one of the most important offseason events is starting today. The NFL league meetings are the NFL’s annual chance to examine and make fundamental changes to the rules everyone plays by.
What there still be tush pushing? Will the league get closer to an 18-game season? Is there a way that the NFL can make kickoffs more confusing for the casual fan? Will short term-notice still suffice when flexing Thursday night games out to Sunday? Can teams opt to kick an onside kick when they want and not just in the 4th quarter? Should the eye in the sky chime in to correct simple officiating errors?
There’s a lot to go over before the season starts. Expect to hear dribs and drabs on items on the agenda are reconciled. Rest assured, we’ll have all the details here at Mile High Report.
