We already knew Peyton Manning is set to appear in two FanDuel commercials during the Super Bowl. The former quarterback is also set to appear in an Uber Eats ad … sorta.
In his continuing campaign with Uber Eats, Matthew McConaughey maintains his conspiracy theory that football was invented to sell food.
McConaughey stars in the company’s Super Bowl commercial this year and he retells the story of football and food with his face CGI’d over historical football figures, including Manning.
“And Peyton, he was a beef salesman,” McConaughey says in the ad. Then the QB is shown saying, “Omaha! Steaks. Omaha! Steaks.” The actual Manning is briefly shown in real footage before McConaughey takes over for the Omaha Steaks bit.
Watch the extended cut of the commercial below, which runs more than a minute and a half long:
In addition to McConaughey, Martha Stewart, Charli XCX, Kevin Bacon, Greta Gerwig and Sean Evans also appear in the Uber Eats commercial.
The Philadelphia Eagles will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday afternoon. The Uber Eats ad will likely be one of the big winners of the day.
