The Nix family took Tez Johnson into their home when he was 15 years old and while he was not legally adopted, Johnson now considers Bo Nix to be his brother.
After playing high school football with Nix at Pinson Valley, Johnson later reunited with his brother at Oregon ahead of the 2023 season. They connected 86 times for 1,182 yards and 10 touchdowns last season before Nix entered the NFL draft.
Now, approaching one year after the Denver Broncos picked Nix, Johnson is entering the NFL draft this spring. Speaking at the Senior Bowl last month, the receiver was asked about the possibility of landing in Denver.
“Playing alongside my brother again would be very, very … I mean, that’s another dream come true,” Johnson said, via Alec Elijah of the Sidelines Sports Network. “If you can play in the NFL with your brother, that’s pretty amazing.”
Tez Johnson addressed some of the weight/muscle comments in the media at today’s Senior Bowl Media Day. I also got to ask about the possibility of playing with former Oregon QB Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos, who Tez calls his brother. pic.twitter.com/BgVY2GwzPW

Johnson (5-9, 156 pounds) is probably a late-round prospect due to his size, but it would be quite a story if he got a chance to reunite with Nix in Denver.
The 2025 NFL draft will be held in Green Bay from April 24-26 and the Broncos holds seven picks, including three sixth-round selections.
