The Kansas City Chiefs look to become the first franchise in NFL history to win three-straight Super Bowl titles and will have to take down the Philadelphia Eagles for a second time in that span to do it.
Kickoff is set for Sunday, February 9, 2025 at 4:30 p.m. Mile High time at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana and will air on FOX.
Super Bowl Prediction
According to FanDuel, the Chiefs are slight 1.5-point favorites in the Super Bowl over the Eagles. I’ve been extremely pessimistic on the Eagles chances just given the long history of officiating shenanigans with the Chiefs in the playoffs. Since 2021, their opponents have almost double the penalties when playing them. Even more egregious, their opponents have 12 of the fifteen yard variety penalties to the Chiefs 2 in the playoffs. But it isn’t even the big penalties that make a difference, the 5 yard defensive holding is also a big help for Kansas City as their opponents have gotten 11 to the Chiefs 3 in that playoff span the last three years. In short, it’ll be the Chiefs in a close game with the aid of some suspicious calls. .. as per usual.
