There’s a clear front runner for the Denver Broncos in the 2025 NFL draft.
Penn State tight end Tyler Warren and Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty are fan-favorite prospects, but it would be a surprise if either fell to pick No. 20 in the first round. Consequently, draft pundits have zeroed in on another prospect who is expected to be available for the Broncos.
Michigan tight end Colston Loveland has been the most popular pick for Denver in mock drafts across the web.
Look at NFL.com, ESPN, The Athletic, Pro Football Focus, The Sporting News, Fox Sports, CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated and USA TODAY and you’ll see Loveland going off the board to the Broncos at pick No. 20.
Tight end is, indeed, one of the team’s biggest needs in 2025. Loveland (6-5, 245 pounds) could fill that need after hauling in 56 receptions for 582 yards and five touchdowns last fall. In three years at Michigan, the tight end totaled 117 catches for 1,466 yards and 11 touchdowns in 39 games.
The 2025 NFL draft will be held in Green Bay from April 24-26. The Broncos hold seven picks, including selections in the first four rounds.
