The NFL’s trade deadline is fast approaching. Some teams are getting ready for a playoff push, while some are already trying to jostle for position for the 2024 NFL Draft. While there should be some shakeups across the league, what are some trades that would rock for fantasy football before Halloween?

Jerry Jeudy to the Carolina Panthers
Jerry Jeudy to Carolina. We seen what Adam is doing there, I can only imagine the kind of numbers Jerry would put up.

Jeudy was touted as a generational route runner who would immediately contribute in the NFL. Now he’s clearly on the outs in Denver, and a pairing with Bryce Young could make sense for both sides. He would immediately slot in as the WR1 for the team in 2024 and beyond, and with no first-round pick in 2024, the Panthers won’t be able to get a playmaker like this unless it’s a trade for a disgruntled player like Jeudy. Even if they decide to be patient in a loaded 2024 rookie class, Jeudy has a first-round pedigree and a manageable cap situation moving forward.
The Broncos can afford to lose Jeudy as Sutton has been playing well and Mims Jr. has been a delightful playmaker. If the team is looking to recoup draft capital from the Russell Wilson trade, or just to cut ties with Jeudy, this trade would be a fun one. More playing time for Mims Jr. and a receiver for Bryce Young to grow with. Who says no?
Derrick Henry to the Baltimore Ravens
If NFL fans have to watch Gus Edwards and Justice Hill run out for another Ravens game, they might riot. The Titans are about two games away from a dumpster fire, and if they can get anything for their 29-year-old monster of a running back, they should take it. This would immediately bolster the Ravens offense, give Henry one or two more years of fantasy football relevance, and free Tyjae Spears from his handcuff designation.
Lamar Jackson needs another weapon, and while receivers might be hard to come by an extra rushing threat in the offense can take some pressure off of him. Even though running backs don’t have the same impact on win-loss columns that they did in the 90s, it would be a fun trade for fantasy football.
Jameis Winston to the New York Jets
Derek Carr has been dreadful, but the Saints seem fully committed to him. A 125 million dollar contract will do that to a team. If they’re not willing to play Winston, they could at least try to trade him to the New York Jets. He’s not the same level of player as Aaron Rodgers, but he’s definitely an upgrade over Zach Wilson.
This would immediately upgrade Garrett Wilson, Tyler Conklin, and even Breece Hall as the offense would hopefully open up. Fantasy wide receivers playing with Jameis Winston have been the beneficiary of his bombs-away mentality. Conversely, Zach Wilson has provided more explosive plays for the defense than for his wideouts. While it’s a pipe dream, it would be a fun trade for fantasy football and for Jets fans across the nation.
