This is poetic.
The last time the Denver Broncos played in a playoff game, pass rusher Von Miller took home Super Bowl 50 Most Valuable Player honors after recording 2.5 sacks and forcing two fumbles in a 24-10 win over the Carolina Panthers.
The Broncos have now returned to the postseason for the first time since that 2015 season and their first opponent is … Von Miller.
Miller, 35, now plays for the Buffalo Bills, who are set to host the Broncos in the Wild Card round of the AFC playoffs on Sunday. Ahead of that matchup against his former team, Miller took to Instagram with a fitting message.
“Full Circle ,” Miller captioned his post that included the iconic meme of Wesley Snipes crying in the 1991 film New Jack City.

Miller’s post also included two photos from Super Bowl 50.

Miller played for the Broncos from 2011-2021 and he holds the franchise record of 110.5 sacks. He was traded to the Los Angeles Rams mid-way through the 2021 season and went on to win Super Bowl LVI.
Miller joined the Bills as a free agent in 2022 and he is now looking to win a third Super Bowl with his third team, but his former club stands in his way. Miller has continued to support Denver from a distance, and he has said in the past that if Buffalo does not win the Super Bowl, he wants the Broncos to win it.
Sunday will be an emotional game for the veteran pass rusher. Meanwhile, fans in Denver will be rooting for a Broncos win, but if they lose, Miller getting one step closer to another Super Bowl would be a consolation.
