Teams get less time so those picks will be coming in hot. Here is when the Denver Broncos are likely to pick on Day 2.
The first night of the NFL Draft has come and gone and the addition of Texas cornerback Jahdae Barron to the Denver Broncos’ defense is making those Rocky Mountains rumble a little today.

And now it’s time for the second and third rounds, which will kick off at 5 p.m. MT.
So get your beer and snacks ready early because these picks will start popping.
With seven minutes allotted for each team’s pick in the second round, and Denver picking at 51, the Broncos could be putting in their selection around 7 p.m. if they do not trade up or back.
But that’s a big question mark.
After a somewhat surprising choice of cornerback at No. 20 on Thursday night, Broncos Country has to be wondering if this is the round Denver goes for a running back. It’s a deep class and Sean Payton and George Paton have always hinted that good value could be gained in the second and third rounds for running backs.

Given that Ohio State running backs TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins are still on the board, I would not be surprised to see Denver trade up to get one.
With the 85th pick for Denver coming in the third round — where teams have 5 minutes per selection — the Broncos could be selecting sometime around 9:30 p.m. MT.
But once again, I would recommend making a night of it because Payton’s M.O. for being aggressive in the draft is likely to show up tonight.
