The NCAA works hard to ensure its tournament teams are taken care of travel-wise. However, there’s reportedly a major issue this year.
Colorado State, a six-seed scheduled to play 11-seed Michigan on Thursday at 12:15 p.m. ET, has yet to receive a travel itinerary.
The Rams are awaiting word from the NCAA, but has yet to receive it. The Colorado State men’s basketball team is now considering lobbying to get its 12:15 p.m. ET tip time pushed back.
To make matters worse, Michigan’s travel itinerary is good to go. The Wolverines will be taking a bus ride to Indianapolis where they’re scheduled to play. Colorado State will have to travel via plane.
Most schools were notified this morning or in the afternoon. Colorado State is mulling going to the NCAA and lobbying to get its 12:15 p.m. Thursday tip pushed back. The program doesn’t have a travel itinerary yet as it leads up to one of the biggest games in school history.

“Every team scheduled to play in Thursday’s first round will be traveling by NCAA-paid charter buses and planes tomorrow,” tweeted Matt Norlander. “(The NCAA is normally very good with this.) CSU is waiting in limbo and can’t get answers from the NCAA. It plays Michigan at 12:15 p.m. ET on Thursday.

This is pretty ridiculous. The Rams need to be taken care of.
Thursday’s Colorado State-Michigan first-round game could get pushed back if the NCAA doesn’t hurry and schedule travel plans for the Rams.
