Deion Sanders confirmed what Colorado fans have been wondering since CU became bowl-eligible against Cincinnati: Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders will play in Colorado’s bowl game.
At his weekly Tuesday presser, Coach Prime was asked if he was feeling emotional ahead of what was potentially his final game coaching his sons and Travis.
“No,” he responded. “We’ve got a bowl game. It’s not the last time you’ll see them in a Buffs uniform.”
With Colorado’s odds of making it to the Big 12 title game looking bleak, it’s looking increasingly more likely that the Buffs will go to one of the six Pac-12 tie-in bowls, as opposed to playing for a college football playoff spot in Dallas.
In that bowl game, we’ll get to see the Buffaloes at their full star power, taking advantage of the opportunity to put up some extra tape before the NFL draft.
“We’re gonna fight and go out there and kick some butt and try to end this thing on the right note,” added Sanders.
We won’t know what bowl CU will play in until the bowl selection show on December 8th, but we can rest assured that Colorado will be their best wherever they end up.
