Colorado head coach Deion Sanders has forgiven Nick Saban for picking against his program two weeks ago against UCF.
The Colorado-UCF game was one of the games that GameDay got to pick a couple of weeks ago. Desmond Howard started by picking Colorado before Saban threw a curveball and picked UCF.
Saban’s wife, Terry, was also on set and was stunned by his pick. She told everyone that Sanders texted Nick this week and told him that he was doing a great job on GameDay. She couldn’t believe that he picked against Colorado.
“I got your back, Deion,” Terry Saban said.
She picked Colorado to win and sure enough, she got it right since Colorado won 48-21.
Sanders forgave Saban during the October 12 edition of GameDay and the two shared a laugh over it.
“I forgive you for last week but my favorite, Miss Terry had my back,” Sanders said. “I love you Miss Terry, I love you.”
The two shared a good laugh while Sanders was on GameDay but the latter has a pretty big game on Saturday night against No. 18 Kansas State.
It’s a battle between two 4-1 teams as Colorado tries to get a big win at home over a ranked opponent.
Kickoff will be at 10:15 p.m. ET.
