Deion Sanders has done a lot of talking since arriving at Colorado more than a year ago. But the Buffaloes haven’t really backed it up on the field. Colorado went 4-8 in 2023 and the Buffs are off to a 1-1 start in 2024.
Colorado was crushed by Nebraska, 28-10, in Lincoln on Saturday evening. The game was never really close. The Huskers scored an offensive touchdown early and then had a pick-six on Shedeur Sanders to go up 14-0. It was 28-0 at halftime.
Following the game, Coach Prime was crushed by fans on social media.
“The part that Deion struggles the most with is the coaching,” one fan wrote.
“At some point, Deion Sanders ability to coach needs to be questioned,” one fan added.
“if nothing else, Deion Sanders’ run at Colorado has taught a lot of the more casual football fans that fixing a bad offensive line is hard as s– — and you shouldn’t ever let your OL get bad,” one fan added.
“Maybe Deion should try coaching the baseball team instead,” one fan added.
Deion Sanders so flustered that he has three timeouts, and barely used one and let 13 seconds off the clock 😂😂
Nightmare coaching from him. Nightmare.

It’s still early, but right now, it’s tough to imagine Colorado winning a lot of games with the Buffaloes struggling on both sides of the ball, especially on the lines.
