The puzzle pieces are falling into place for Colorado
The puzzle pieces are starting to fall into place for the Colorado Buffaloes to land four-star quarterback Juju Lewis from the Class of 2025. Lewis, who has been committed to Lincoln Riley’s USC program since August of 2023, has officially announced his de-commitment from the Trojans.
Despite being committed to Southern Cal for around 16 months, Lewis has been loudly flirting with other programs over the last 6 months, namely Colorado and Indiana. Lewis has gone on multiple official visits to Boulder and was also in Athens for Georgia’s game against Tennessee last Saturday.
Things kicked off Sunday morning when five-star quarterback Husan Longstreet announced that he’ll be flipping his comment from Texas A&M to Southern Cal. Shortly after, Lewis announced his de-commitment from the Trojans. If you think that this is a coincidence, you’d be wrong.
Riley’s Trojans have underwhelmed this season and it looks like a coaching change in Los Angeles is inevitable within the next few seasons. Lewis wants to come into a program and play immediately, which he’d get the opportunity to do in Boulder under Deion Sanders. With Shedeur Sanders gone next season, Lewis would be ‘the guy’ in Boulder as a true freshman.
Now, we anxiously await Juju to announce his commitment to Colorado. When any new news on Lewis breaks, we’ll update you here at Ralphie Report asap.
