Colorado is in a dogfight with North Dakota State in tonight’s season opener in Boulder.
It’s been a back-and-forth affair all night long, with the Buffaloes currently holding a 24-20 advantage in the fourth quarter. It’s been the Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter show for Colorado and it has LeBron James fired up.
The NBA superstar thinks fans will be seeing a lot of Sanders-to-Hunter touchdowns throughout the season.
“Shedeur to Hunter for 6! Going to be seeing and hearing that a lot this season I bet!” James tweeted.
James tweeted this after Hunter got his first touchdown but he would add to that total in the second half with a second touchdown reception.
Hunter currently has five receptions for 116 yards and two touchdowns while Sanders has already thrown for 400 yards and three touchdowns.
The two may need to combine for one more score since Colorado is only up by four in the fourth quarter.
The Buffaloes are going up against an FCS powerhouse and the game has more than lived up to the hype so far.
Fans are in for a fun finish to this game. You can watch the rest of it on ESPN.
