Colorado football has a bye this week, which means Shedeur Sanders has a rare fall weekend off.
On Friday night, Sanders was in Las Vegas for the WNBA Playoffs, where he watched the Las Vegas Aces stave off elimination by beating the New York Liberty in Game 3 of their best-of-5 series. While sitting courtside, Sanders had the chance to interact with Aces star A’ja Wilson, and most notably, Raiders owner Mark Davis.
In a clip going viral on social media, Davis and Sanders can be seen and heard conversing, with the leader of the Silver and Black telling the Buffaloes quarterback he’s “watched all of your games.” It then appears that Davis told Sanders he “might be home” already in Vegas.

Considering the Raiders are likely to be in the QB market in the 2025 NFL Draft, this is an interesting conversation indeed.
Not surprisingly, it has sparked reaction online.
“I like [Shedeur] but hate the Raiders. Thus, I just can’t like this tweet. Shedeur deserves the best opportunity at a strong organization and the Raiders organization doesn’t measure up,” a Broncos fan said.
“Yeah Mark build it up,” another person added.
“Shedeur probably asking tips on a signature bowl haircut,” a third person joked.
Deion Sanders has said in the past he’s willing to help steer his son to certain NFL franchises, so it remains to be seen if the Raiders would even be one of those, should they have the opportunity to draft him.
Certainly makes for a fun discussion topic right now though.
