Travis Hunter is already one of the most prolific players to watch in college football.
He plays both sides of the ball as a cornerback and wide receiver and excels at it. Just last Thursday, he recorded seven receptions for 132 yards and three touchdowns as a wideout along with three tackles as a corner.
There’s already talk that he could go in the top five of next year’s NFL Draft and if you ask ESPN’s Greg McElroy, he thinks Hunter could go down as one of the best college football players ever.
“If he can continue to do what he’s doing on both sides of the ball in some big games against quality competition, like this week against a Nebraska team most people think is really good on defense, it’s gonna be hard not to acknowledge his presence as not just one of the best in this year’s version of college football, but one of the best of all-time,” McElroy said, via On3.
Hunter dominated North Dakota State last week and will have an opportunity to do the same against Nebraska this Saturday. The two teams played in Boulder last year and will play in Lincoln this year.
Kickoff will be at 7:30 p.m. ET.
