Should the Bulls feel left out in the cold? Far from it. In fact, executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas should be excited that the Feb. 6 trade deadline is still far away and the trade-asset line already has started moving. A source indicated that the Bulls’ goal is to continue aggressively shopping Lonzo Ball, Nikola Vucevic and Zach LaVine, as well as any other name that makes sense. That was their focus going into the season, and it remains their focus even while some solid moments of basketball have been played. -via Chicago Sun-Times / December 16, 2024

Rich Rovito: #Bucks down #Wizards 124-114 to go above .500 for the first time since the season-opening game. Giannis Antetokounmpo records the first 40-point triple-double of his career. Finishes with 42 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists. Milwaukee native Jordan Poole led Washington with 31. -via x.com / November 30, 2024
Wizards guard Jordan Poole considers Washington’s recent struggles necessary for the team to eventually take the leap to the next level. After the Wizards’ 121-96 home defeat to the Clippers on Wednesday, their 13th in a row, Poole addressed reporters postgame, per Chase Hughes of Monumental Sports Network (Twitter video link). “It’s just a matter of figuring things out,” Poole said. “Good things take time… You’ve got to go through it. Every organization has to go through tough times in order to figure out what the good times are like, if that makes sense. You’ve got to figure it out, you’re building a foundation, you’re laying pieces. It’s not supposed to be easy.” -via Hoops Rumors / November 29, 2024
