The Orlando Magic and Philadelphia 76ers are in position to make a move for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line.
Caldwell-Pope declined his $15.4 million player option with the Nuggets on Thursday.
Sources add that Caldwell-Pope is “more likely than not” to change teams in free agency.
The Mavs would also be interested in Caldwell-Pope, though with his projected salary, they would only be able to acquire him via sign-and-trade.
General manager Calvin Booth said that the Nuggets would be “OK if KCP doesn’t return.“
