The recognition is well-deserved after such a great season
The awards have started coming in for Brenton Doyle, as he was named the winner of the 2024 Fielding Bible Award in center field.

This is a huge accolade for Doyle, who is likely to collect more hardware following his excellent 2024 campaign.
Rockies fans have known about Doyle’s skillset for a while, but it appears he’s made the jump to national recognition as well. The attention is well-deserved, as his work in center field placed him among the game’s absolute best at the position.
With an Outs Above Average mark in the 98th percentile and arm strength even more lauded, it’s no wonder that he is receiving this kind of acknowledgement.
Doyle becomes the fifth Rockies player to win a Fielding Bible Award, and the first outfielder to do so. He joins his teammate Brendan Rodgers, who won the award in 2022 for his work at second base.
Currently a finalist for a Gold Glove, Doyle may have to make some more room on his mantel for additional hardware as the offseason progresses.
