Today’s the deadline for teams and arbitration-eligible players to come to terms on a 2025 contract.
Today marks Major League Baseball’s arbitration deadline.
Teams and arbitration-eligible players have until 1:00 pm ET to arrive at an agreement to avoid the arbitration process. If that fails, both parties must exchange salary figures by tonight.
The Colorado Rockies have six arbitration-eligible players. So far, three have arrived at deals.
- Sam Hilliard — $1 million
- Lucas Gilbreath — $785,000
- Austin Gomber — $6.35 million (reported by Mark Feinsand)
The remaining arbitration-eligible players are Ryan Feltner, Jimmy Herget, and Justin Lawrence.
Granted, the deadline has already passed, but the paperwork will be filed and deals made public throughout the day.
We’ll update this story as figures become available.
