Zac Veen is back in right field for his 2nd MLB game
Antonio Senzatela has had a delightfully surprising — and lucky — start to 2025 after missing most of the last two seasons with injuries.
After two starts, Senzatela has a 0.00 ERA, but has given up 19 hits in 9 2⁄3 innings. He has struck out three batters, walked only two, and given up one unearned run. Finding ways out of jams has allowed Senzatela to make some history.

Antonio Senzatela has allowed 19 hits this season & no earned runs
That’s the most hits vs a pitcher in his 1st 2 outings of a season without allowing an ER since ER official (1913)
Only others to do so in any 2g span in last 95 szns:

Senzatela made it 4 1⁄3 innings on 78 pitches in his 2025 debut on March 29 vs. the Rays. He bumped up to 5 1⁄3 innings with 92 pitches against the Phillies on April 3. He’ll make his third start on Wednesday against the Brewers, looking to keep his zero unearned run streak alive.
Tyler Alexander (1-0, 2.00 ERA) will be on the mound for the Brewers. The 30-year-old lefty is in his seventh season in MLB, but first in the National League. He was drafted by the Tigers, played in Detroit for five years and pitched for the Rays in 2024, going up and down from the Minors. After becoming a free agent, he was picked up by Milwaukee in February.
Wednesday night will mark Alexander’s fourth appearance on the season. He pitched in relief twice against the Yankees before getting a start against the Reds on April 4. He struck out six and walked three in 5 2⁄3 hitless, scoreless innings in a 3-2 victory.
The Rockies have shuffled up the lineup order, moving up Sean Bouchard and dropping down Kris Bryant and Michael Toglia in hopes of generating more production. The Rockies are averaging 3.1 runs per game with a big boost from a 12-run output on Sunday vs. the A’s.
