The Rockies will look to bounce back and win the series in Milwaukee
The Colorado Rockies fell to the Milwaukee Brewers 5-2 last night after an exciting 3-2 victory on Friday. This afternoon, they will look to once again take the rubber match and the series.
But they also made some roster moves this morning:
The Rockies announced the following moves today:
– Reinstated RHP Victor Vodnik from the 15-day IL.
– Designated LHP Ty Blach for assignment.The Rockies have 39 players on the 40-man roster.

Kyle Freeland (4-7, 5.30 ERA) will take the mound for the Rockies. In his last outing against the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park, Freeland allowed two runs (one earned) over five innings, walking none and striking out five. It was the sixth time in his career allowing one or fewer earned runs with no walks over at least five innings, but the Rockies were shut out for the 14th time, 3-0. Freeland has faced the Brewers seven times previously, and holds a 4-2 record and 2.36 ERA.
He will face his teammate Luis’ brother, right-hander Freddy Peralta (10-7, 3.75 ERA). In his last outing, Peralta threw 5 1⁄3 innings against the St. Louis Cardinals and allowed three runs (two homers) on six hits with two walks and three strikeouts in the Brewers’ 9-3 victory. Peralta has faced the Rockies six times (five starts) and owns a 3-1 record with a 3.41 ERA.
