We’re a week into the season and the Colorado Rockies are 2-7 after avoiding the sweep in their Home Opening series yesterday at the hands of the Athletics. They will open a series against the Milwaukee Brewers tomorrow.
Through their first nine games, they rank near the bottom in numerous categories. Offensively, they lead just the Miami Marlins and Atlanta Braves in runs/game (3.33) and are tied with the Braves and Pittsburgh Pirates with six total home runs — last in the National League. They have also only swiped four total bags, all by recently-optioned Jordan Beck. However, their 2.61 starting rotation ERA ranks just behind the New York Mets as top in the NL, so that’s something!
With all that in mind, we want to know — after this first week, do you think the Colorado Rockies will win over/under 56.5 games this season? (In our preseason predictions, the community predicted an average of 65.5 wins.)
