Rockies host the Brewers in final home game of spring training

The Rockies will face the Brewers today in their last game at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick on Monday. For Rockies fans, this game will be on the radio and TV.

The game will mark the final preseason tuneup for Ryan Feltner, who is getting the start for the Rockies. Feltner is 2-1 in four appearances with a 7.25 ERA this spring training. He has posted 12 strikeouts, nine walks and a 1.76 WHIP in 9 ²⁄₃ innings.

Nestor Cortes will start for the Brewers. Cortes is 0-1 with a 6.00 ERA in three appearances in spring training. The Cuban star lefty was named to the American League All-Star Game as a member of the Yankees in 2022. He was traded to the Brewers in December and has a career ERA of 3.80 in seven years in the Majors.

Be sure to check out the starting lineup. If the Rockies substitute Kyle Freeland for Ryan Feltner, this could be the Opening Day lineup when the Rockies take on the Rays on Friday.
