The former first-round draft pick will make his MLB debut this week.
Thomas Harding is reporting that the Colorado Rockies are calling up Zac Veen.
#Rockies are calling up OF prospect Zac Veen and optioning OF Jordan Beck to Triple-A @ABQTopes: Major League sources.

The move comes after Veen (No. 4 PuRP) was sent to start the season in Triple-A Albuquerque to gain more experience, despite having had a successful spring training. During that time, Veen slashed .279/.353/.475 with four doubles, a triple, and two home runs. In addition, he drove in 11 RBIs and stole nine bases, one of the highest totals in MLB.
It is safe to say Veen has set Albuquerque on fire. In 31 at-bats, he has a 1.149 OPS and a .472 OBP. In addition, he has 12 hits including one home run. In Saturday’s game, Veen was absolutely torrid at the plate.

He would go five for five before the evening ended as the Mariachis routed the Salt Lake Bees, 13-3.
As Evan Lang argued late last month, Veen’s spring training performance suggested his time had come. The moment is now, and he is expected to make his MLB debut on Tuesday when the Milwaukee Brewers visit Coors field.
In the meantime, Jordan Beck will move to Albuquerque.
He has struggled at the start of this season. In 23 plate appearances, Beck has slashed .150/.261/.150.
General manager Bill Schmidt has been clear that he sees the 2025 season as one that will involve a great deal of player movement between Denver and Albuquerque. Fans saw the first move with Chase Dollander’s MLB debut today.
The Veen promotion, then, is the next step.
