And away we go!
The Colorado Rockies began their 2025 campaign yesterday against the Tampa Bay Rays — the only two teams not to play on Thursday, as the Rays were putting the finishing touches on their temporary home of George M. Steinbrenner Field (spring training home of the New York Yankees) after Tropicana Field was destroyed by Hurricane Milton.
In true Rockies fashion, they held the lead for most of the game, but the bullpen blew it late and they were walked off. But they can still go 161-1, right? Nobody’s perfect!
