The end of affiliated baseball in the US is wrapping up. This weekend features the Arizona Fall League finale, featuring the Salt River Rafters and the Surprise Saguaros. The Rafters feature prospects from the Colorado Rockies, Arizona Diamondbacks, Minnesota Twins, New York Yankees and Washington Nationals; the Saguaros feature prospects from the Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Guardians, Houston Astros, Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers.
The Rockies sent nine prospects to the AFL this year, and Ryan Ritter and Michael Prosecky both played in the semi-final matchup. Ritter went 2-for-4 with two RBI, two runs scored and one walk. Prosecky threw three innings and allowed just two hits with two strikeouts and a walk. You can watch tomorrow’s finale on MLB.com at 6pm MT.
