We’re into August now, and the Colorado Rockies are sitting at a 43-74 record. Only 26 more losses until they officially hit their second-straight 100-loss season!
So far, the Rox are 4-4 in August against the Los Angeles Angels, San Diego Padres, New York Mets and Atlanta Braves. They have been outscored 41-30. However, Brenton Doyle continued his breakout season last night, joining the 20/20 club alongside Hall of Famer Larry Walker (1997), Dante Bichette (1994, 1996), Ellis Burks (1996) and Carlos González (2013). He also became the sixth MLB player in 2024 to reach the 20/20 milestone alongside Bobby Witt Jr (KC), Elly De La Cruz (CIN), Francisco Lindor (NYM), Jose Ramirez (CLE) and Shohei Ohtani (LAD). Remember, Doyle rules!
