The Winter Meetings are over and there was plenty of action. The New York Mets landed Juan Soto; Garrett Crochet was traded from the Chicago White Sox to the Boston Red Sox; Max Fried signed with the New York Yankees; the Houston Astros traded Kyle Tucker to the Chicago Cubs; and the Los Angeles Dodgers signed Michael Conforto. And the Colorado Rockies signed Thairo Estrada. They also received the fourth-overall pick in the 2025 MLB Draft Lottery, after having the best odds for the top pick (tied with the Miami Marlins).
