Yankees staved off the sweep, but can they tame Freddie Freeman?
The New York Yankees managed to stave off elimination against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday, but with Game 5 looming, the Yankees have to win three more games to take down the fearsome Dodgers.
Aside from the yahoos in right field that tried to steal a ball out of Mookie Betts’ glove, the Yankees got plenty of much-needed offense and hope to replicate their success. They will have Gerrit Cole on the mound as he makes his second start of the series. It may be wise to not pitch to Freddie Freeman who has homered in all four games, extending his World Series home run streak to six consecutive games.
Meanwhile, the Dodgers send out Jack Flaherty who allowed two runs in 5 1⁄3 innings in his first start of the series. He looks to squash any forward momentum the Yankees gained in Game 4 and seal the deal behind his threatening lineup.
